Add an Additional Delay to Browse Packets (pcAnywhere) (All Windows) Category: Home > Software > pcAnywhere Use this setting when remotes display an incomplete list of TCP/IP hosts in the host list over a WAN or LAN connection. The entry allows you to set the amount of delay used to create the remote's browse list. Technically, it adds 0.01 seconds between broadcast packets, and waits one additional second for the host's response for each unit of delay set. For example, a setting of 2 means wait .02 additional seconds between each packet and an additional 2 seconds to receive the response from those broadcasts. If you are having problems over a WAN connection, start with a setting of 1. If the setting does not work correctly, increase the number until the entire host list is displayed.
